Audrey Diana Zuchowski

Audrey Diana Zuchowski, 17, of Wellsboro, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Audrey was born Nov. 19, 1999, in Bradford, the daughter of Jeffrey R. and Pamela A. Puffer Zuchowski.

She recently graduated with the Wellsboro High School class of 2017, and had just started her freshman year at Salem College. Audrey was very musically and artistically talented. She truly enjoyed being a member the Wellsboro High School Chorus, the Dickens Choir, and Women's Ensemble. She also participated in many school musicals. Her kind-hearted nature and love for history led her to volunteer for the Tioga County Historical Society. Audrey took great pride in history and especially art history, as she enjoyed art and history museums including her own collection of vintage clothing. A few of her additional artistic hobbies included playing guitar, painting, and photography.  Audrey was the light of her parents’ life from the moment she was born. She was smart with a dry wit that belied her age and was often referred to as an "Old Soul." She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of style and outgoing personality. 

Audrey leaves behind her parents; maternal grandparents, Marion and Helen Puffer of Addison, N.Y.; paternal grandparents, Theodore and Joan Zuchowski of Wellsboro; uncles, Lewis (Sharon) Zuchowski of Wellsboro, Chris (Margaret) Puffer of Thurston, N.Y.; Aunt Dianna (Darren) Ollis of Hammondsport, N.Y.; cousins, Hannah, Haley, Heidi and Hayden Zuchowski; Devin and Delaney Ollis; Noah and Zane Puffer; and her two fur babies, Zissou and Potato.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, Ltd., 139 Main Street, Wellsboro, PA 16901. Reverend Canon Hinton will be officiating. There will be two sets of visitation hours prior to the service, one between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM, and a second set between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM.
