Donna Leigh (Locey) Kroll

Donna Leigh (Locey) Kroll, 87, of Wellsboro, passed away Sunday June 19, 2022 at UPMC Wellsboro.  She was born March 3, 1935 in Wellsboro to Lyle Thorton and Marguerite Elaine (Sumner) Locey.  She grew up in Wellsboro and graduated from Wellsboro High School.  She married Merle LaVerne Kroll. 

Donna was a homemaker, and her family was her life, she enjoyed caring for them and being with them, she was a gifted sewer, and a member of the Covington United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughter:  Cathy Kirby of Wellsboro; 8 grandchildren:  Jennie (Brandon) Krout, Sarah (Mike) Cleveland, Heather (Shawn) Wallace, Andrea (Randall) Glick, Sommer (James) Gee, Krissy (Mike) Nichols, Mike VanGorden, and Richie VanGorden; 14 great-grandchildren:  Rachael Cleveland, Sydney Faulkner, Bentley Faulkner, Anna Wallace, John Wallace, RJ Wallace, Andrew Wallace, Kai Gee, Mya Gee, Dylan Gee, Ian Glick, Libby Glick, Brennon Glick, and Lincoln Nichols; a great-great-granddaughter:  Hailie Tinkham; and two sisters:  Colleen Emes of Reading, PA, and Judith (William) Bradley of Wellsboro.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband:  Merle Kroll, a daughter:  Connie VanGorden, son-in-law:  Andrew VanGorden, and a great-grandson:  Alexander Cleveland.
