William Howard Wilson

William Howard Wilson, Jr., 71, of Tioga, passed away Sunday June 11, 2023, at UPMC Harrisburg. He was born August 27, 1951, in Blossburg, PA, to William Howard and Ruth Marie (Casher) Wilson. He graduated from Wellsboro Senior High School and served his country in the US Navy. Following his military service, William returned to the area and worked as an electrician at Corning Glass. After retiring from Corning Glass, William enrolled in Mansfield University and earned a bachelor's degree in finance. William was a member of the Mansfield Library Libraries Book of the Month Club, he loved to garden, was an avid reader and was devoted to his pets: his dog "Queenie" and his cat "Garfield".
William is survived by his five brothers: Larry Wayne Wilson (Faye) of Elmira, NY, Roger Erwin Wilson (Billie) of Tioga, Ronald Lee Wilson (Elizabeth) of Waterford, PA, James M. Wilson of Tioga, Robert A. Wilson (Tammie) of Tioga; a sister: Sheila J. Dean (Roger) of Tioga; and several nieces and nephews. HE was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Frederick Reed Wilson.
