Family has decided to postpone services due to Covid-19
Willard S. Heatley, 95, of Wellsboro, died on Sunday, November 15, 2020, at The Green Home.
Willard was born November 24, 1924, in Antrim, the son of the late John and Leah (Dowe) Heatley. He married the former June Manwaring on March 24, 1945 and celebrated 69 years of marriage until her passing on April 21, 2014.
Willard was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, the Wellsboro Moose, F & AM Lodge #317, Wellsboro, the Coudersport Consistory, and the Royal Arch Chapter #194, Tioga. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, trapping, golfing, painting rural scenes on slate tiles, old tools and spending time with his family.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and David Campbell of Wellsboro; son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Bonnie Heatley of Wellsboro; a sister, Caroline Wilson, four grandchildren; Michael Crooks, Dawn (Richard) Huck, Karen (Todd) Mitchell, and Bruce (Lori) Heatley, six great-grandchildren; Heather (Brennan) Williams, Kristin (Alex) Rowland, Shawn (Casey) Heatley, Jeremy (McKenzie Smith) Dietrich, Cassandra (Zane Fuller) Huck, and Shauleena (Brian) Balicki, and six great great grandchildren, Carter, Lauren, Bella, Hunter, Remi, and Maverick.
In addition to his wife and parents, Willard was preceded in death by brothers, Edwin and Frederick Heatley and a sister, Louise Graham.
Friends and family will be invited to Willard's Life Celebration at a future date. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
