Roberta J. (Frost) Miller

Roberta J. Miller, 83, of Wellsboro, passed away on June 27, 2021 at the Green Home, Wellsboro. Born in Washingtonville, PA on July 4, 1937 daughter of the late Samuel R. and Georgeine L. (Fickes) Frost.  She married Laurance W. “Larry” Miller on June 4, 1960 and celebrated 59 years of marriage until his passing on April 12, 2020.  

Roberta dedicated her life to helping others through her career at the Human Services Agency. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Wellsboro, enjoyed reading, crocheting, gardening and loved her pets and grandchildren. Her happiest times were when all of her family was together with food, fun, and frivolity.

Roberta is survived by two daughters: Kathryn “Sue” Young (Joel) of Wellsboro, and Annika K. Miller (Kelly) of Topsfield, MA; and five grandchildren: Laura L. Young of Bristol, VA, Samantha S. Young of Orlando, FL, Claire F. Young of Wellsboro, Rowan W. Miller and Seanan R. Miller of Topsfield, MA, along with many cherished nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Frederick “Fritz” Frost.  

A private service will be held at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, 139 Main Street Wellsboro, PA 16901. A private burial will be held in Newport Cemetery.
