Obituary

Max E. Kimble, 85, of Morris, died February 10, 2022 at UPMC Susquehanna, Williamsport.  He was born in Blossburg, the son of the late Harry E. and Thelma (Taylor) Kimble.  He was the husband of Sylvia Starks who preceded him in death on November 9, 2021. 

Max was a graduate of Liberty High School, Class of 1954 and was an Air Force Veteran.  Max worked as a heavy equipment operator in construction and also worked for PennDot for 10 years.  He was a member of the Friedens Lutheran “Brick” Church, Liberty and was a member of the Knights of Pythias and Black Wolf Rod & Gun Club, both in Liberty. 

Surviving are a daughters, Sheila (Ric (deceased)) Kimble Haas of Las Cruces, NM; Lisa (Jim) Bennett of Montoursville; a son Max E. Kimble, Jr. of Portland, OR; a step daughter, Linda (Dave) Livingston of Williamsport, PA; step sons, Craig Fassett of Morris PA; Todd Fassett of Fletcher, OK; a brother, Robert Kimble of Bellefonte, PA; a sister, Mary Cerrutti of Sayre, PA: six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. 

At Max’s request there will be no visitation or services.
