Lillian B. Gastrock, 91, of Wellsboro, passed away Saturday February 20, 2021 at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre. She was born January 20, 1930 in Williamsport, the daughter of the late Walter and Anna Elizabeth (Fenstemacher) Kennedy, and was a devoted homemaker who loved raising children and taking care of the elderly.
Lillian is survived by a son, William E. (Ellen) Gastrock, Jr. of North East; daughters: Diana (Dean) French of Wellsboro, Janet (Harry) Smith of Keenyville, Violet (Randy) Ralph of Mansfield, and Karen (Richard) Gamlen of Zephyrhills, FL; brothers: Clayton (Mary) Kennedy and Fred (Diane) Kennedy; sister: Eleanor Neal; 21 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by three daughters: Beth Ann Gastrock, Sylvia Gentner, and Maureen Smith; a brother: Mahlon Kennedy; and a sister: Alethea Copley.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be a private funeral service at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home 139 Main Street Wellsboro, Thursday February 25, 2021 with a burial to follow in the West Branch Cemetery.
