Leon V. Mazur

Leon V. Mazur, Jr., 83, of Wellsboro, passed away Friday March 25, 2022 at UPMC Susquehanna in Williamsport. He was born August 9, 1938, in Trenton, NJ, to Leon and Mary (Wiater) Mazur, Sr. On October 17, 1959, he married Geraldine Sekeras, with whom he shared 62 years of marriage. He owned and operated Windsor Plant Mall in NJ, and enjoyed the creative aspects of designing and decorating his garden center. Leon was raised Catholic and had been a member of St. Hedwig's Catholic Church. He loved watching his son play baseball, enjoyed duck hunting, and was an avid fisherman.

Leon is survived by his wife: Geraldine, of Wellsboro; two sons: Jeffrey Mazur (Janet) of Mercerville, NJ, and Garret Mazur (Sally) of Kendall Park, NJ; a daughter: Maryann T. Niski (John) of Waikoloa, HI; and 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister, and a son: John Mazur.
