Kathleen Diane (Dorwart) Snyder

Kathleen Diane (Dorwart) Snyder, 75 of Wellsboro, passed away early Thursday March 3, 2022 at the Green Home in Wellsboro. She was born February 14, 1947 in Harrisburg to Percy Ner and Catherine Elizabeth (Peters) Dorwart. She was an active member of the United Methodist Church of Wellsboro, she sang in the church choir, and loved helping make the salads the church sells. She enjoyed taking day trips to visit friends and family, visiting The Windmill in Penn Yan, NY, but most of all she enjoyed the community of Wellsboro, and sharing in the beauty of the area.

Kathleen is survived by her husband Larry Snyder; two sons: John Hoover (Annette Dutchess) of Wellsboro and Larry Christopher Snyder (Karen) of Harrisburg; 3 daughters: Amanda Lee of Bloomsburg, Kimberley Snyder (Scott Slocum) of Shippensburg, and Courtney Snyder Ng (Kuwn) of Ann Arbor, MI; 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a brother: James Dorwart of Etters; and a sister: Elaine Garman of Harrisburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Robert and Allen Dorwart, a sister: Carol Spahr, and a grandson.

Her family has postponed her service, there will be a memorial service at the United Methodist Church of Wellsboro at a later date.
