Judith K. Nagy, 84, of Middlebury Center, passed away Thursday February 3, 2022 at her son's home surrounded by family. She was born April 11, 1937 to Roscoe and Esther (Walker) Kelley in Elmira, NY. On February 12, 1956, she married Joseph Nagy with whom she shared 55 years of marriage before his death in 2011. Judith was a member of the Keeneyville United Methodist Church, faithfully volunteered at the Middlebury Township polls for elections, worked as an x-ray technician, in the butcher department of Owlett's Market in Keeneyville, co-owned and operated the Personal Service Meat Market in Middlebury Center, worked at Sears and Wal Mart. Judy was an avid gardener and canner, and a marvelous cook often making use of her own produce. She had an outgoing personality and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Judith is survived by two sons: David Nagy (Cindy) of Millerton, and Thomas Nagy (Rebecca) of Sabinsville; a daughter: Valerie Chilson (Greg) of Beaver Dams, NY; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a brother: Jack Kelley (Nina) of Pine City, NY. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a son: Michael Nagy, a granddaughter: Hannah Chilson, a great-granddaughter: Avery Hall, and a sister: Barbara Spencer. In accordance with her wishes, following her burial in Bath National Cemetery there will be a private memorial service. Her family has entrusted her arrangements to the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home 139 Main Street Wellsboro, PA.
