Joseph F Tascione

Joseph F. "Joe" Tascione, 90, of Wellsboro passed away Thursday April 6, 2023 at UPMC Soldiers and Sailors. He was born September 23, 1932 in Philadelphia to Ottavio and Madeline (Spinelli) Tascione. He graduated from high school and served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. On August 3, 1960 he married Loretta Pietrowicz with whom he shared 62 years of marriage. Joseph was a devoted husband and father who worked demanding hours motivated by his family's welfare. He was a good man with a noble heart, a dedicated patriot, a faithful member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, and an avid New York Yankees fan.
Joe is survived by his wife, four children, and his Wellsboro friends. His friends and family are invited to pay tribute to Joseph's life from 6-8pm Friday May 12, 2023 at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home 139 Main Street Wellsboro, PA and to his memorial Mass 10am Saturday May 13, 2023 at St. Peter's Catholic Church 38 Central Avenue Wellsboro, PA.
