Henry W. Gleason, 72, of Rixford, PA passed away at home Sunday September 4, 2022. He was born January 11, 1950 in Wellsboro, the son of Foster and Carrie (Simmons) Gleason. He graduated from high school, served his country in the USMC (and was very much a Marine), and on March 28, 1970, Henry married Rebecca Jordan with whom he shared 39 years of marriage. Together they raised their three daughters. He was a life member of the Bradford Post 108 of the American Legion, enjoyed hunting and fishing with his girls, travelling with his family and listening to classic country music.
Henry is survived by his three daughters: Tammy (Aaron) Summers of Rixford, April Wheeler of Pawtucket, RI, and Shantille (Shane) Camp of Johnstown, NY; two step-grandchildren: Katelyn Mayer and Chance Wheeler; and a brother: Foster Gleason, Jr. of Elmira Heights, NY. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and two brothers: Thomas and Frederick Gleason.
Friends and family are invited to pay tribute to Henry's life from10:00-11:00am Saturday September 10, 2022 at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home 139 Main Street Wellsboro, PA, with a funeral to follow at 11:00am in the funeral home.
