Donna Lee (Lundgren) Wilcox

Donna Lee Wilcox, caring wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away June 3, 2021 at age 80 after a courageous battle with cancer. She died at home, surrounded by her family whom she loved and who loved her deeply.

She was born August 7, 1940 to Arthur and Naomi Grace (Kane) Lundgren in Blossburg, PA. She lost her mother at a very early age and missed and loved her deeply. Donna grew up in Wellsboro, where she met her husband of 62 years. Together they had two children Jerry Arthur and Jay Elliott Wilcox and they shared a wonderful life together. Donna loved morning walks, spending time with friends and family and loved horses. She had a fierce personality and a sense of humor that was admired by all who knew her. She was generous and caring. Donna and her husband Chuck spent their summers in Lawrenceville, PA and travelled to Arizona in the winter where they shared great times with many close friends. There was nothing ordinary about Donna, she was direct and to the point, and as sassy as they come. She loved her family and was proud of the men her two sons became. She had a love of fast cars and loved to "haul ass", as she would say. She had too many close friends to list, but her dearest friend was Shelia Kilmer and together, let's just say, they made memories that can never be forgotten. She shared many laughs and memories with the Thursday morning breakfast club as well as her friends in Arizona. She will be greatly missed.

Donna is survived by her husband: Charles Albert Wilcox, Jr.; two sons: Jerry Arthur Wilcox and his former wife Theresa Evans Robertson, and Jay Elliott Wilcox and his wife Kimberly Spencer Wilcox; grandchildren: David Wilcox (Christine), Whitney Hoobler, Chase Wilcox (Brittany), Seth Wilcox, Reagan Wilcox, and Ben Wilcox; great-grandchildren: Ava, Evan, Cambria, and Riley Wilcox; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Leroy and Sue Young, and Roger and Mary Wilcox; a cousin:  Karen Ives (Ron); and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to pay tribute to Donna's life from 1:00-3:00pm Friday June 11, 2021 at Calvary United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville with a memorial service to follow in the church at 3:00pm, and a time of fellowship to follow the service.
