Dolores May Tancredi, 88 of Wellsboro, passed away Tuesday February 9, 2021 at UPMC Soldiers and Sailors. She was born January 24, 1933 in Philadelphia to George D. and Dorothy May (Bixler) Bradley. Dolores was a devoted Christian who loved her Lord, she attended Charleston Baptist Church in Wellsboro and Grace Community Church in Parkesburg. She enjoyed watching religious programs on TV, especially John Hagee, reading her Bible and interacting with children. Dolores was an excellent typist and used those skills when she worked for AT&T, Chilton Publishing Co., and Pierce Phelps. She loved her dogs: Fluffy, Bambi, and Snuggles.
Surviving are her daughter: Sandra Lee Tancredi of Philadelphia; two Brothers: John C. and Gordon N. Bradley of Wellsboro; 4 sisters: Elizabeth “Betty” Waldrop, Barbara A. Infante and Elsie Bradley of Wellsboro, and Edith Hoover of Parkesburg, PA, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband William Tancredi; a 17 year old son: William “Billy” Tancredi; two infant sons; her parents; 5 brothers: William, George, Raymond, Robert and Samuel Bradley; and a sister: Janie Bradley.
