Betty J. Cruttenden

Betty J. Cruttenden, 93, of Wellsboro, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020 at the Green Home, Wellsboro.

Betty was born on November 5, 1926 in Blossburg, the daughter of the late Frederick and Helen (O’Dell) Revie.  She was the wife of the late Lewis H. Cruttenden, who passed away on October 17, 1967. 

Betty was a graduate of Blossburg High School, Class of 1944. She worked 19 years as an assembler for Mergenthaler, Inc.  After retirement she worked as an office assistant for the Area Agency on Aging and worked for the American Cancer Society, Tioga Unit.   

Surviving are a daughter, Gloria (Ronald) Bower of Wellsboro, a brother, Howard (Diane) Revie of Grand Junction, CO; 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Plume, brothers; Alan, John, and Harold Revie and sisters; Bernice Youmans, Arlene Young and Dorothy Conklin. 

At Betty’s wishes, there will be no viewing or service.

The family suggest memorial contributions in Betty’s name be made to the American Cancer Society, Tioga Unit, 1948 East Third Street, Williamsport, PA 17701
