William L. Baker

William L. Baker, 70, of Wellsboro, passed away at his home Tuesday September 15, 2026. He was born March 12, 1956 in Blossburg to William Lester and Joanne Eola (Williamson) Baker. He graduated from high school and served in the US Air Force. Bill was a life member of the Wellsboro VFW, loved to hunt and fish, and enjoyed processing his deer and making bologna.

William is survived buy a Brother: Bruce Baker of Wellsboro; a sister: Debra Ofner of Dallas, TX; a brother-in-law: John Miller of Wellsboro; and three nieces: Stefanie Young of Wellsboro, Carrie Heath of Ithaca, NY, and Courtney Rheinhart of Ithaca, NY. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister: Susan Miller.
