William Alberte

William M. "Bill" Alberte, 65, of Middlebury Center passed away Saturday September 5, 2026, at his home. He was born December 26, 1960, in Ephrata, PA to William F. and Joyce E. (Beamesderfer) Alberte. He graduated from Cocalico high school, and on May 13, 1989, married Karen S. Haulman with whom he shared 37 years of marriage. Bill worked many jobs, but primarily he worked as a telecommunications technician, and that was the work that he did in this area.

Bill was an active member of the Middlebury Baptist Church, an avid hunter, he enjoyed farming and tractors, and had done some gunsmithing.

He is survived by his wife Karen Alberte of Middlebury Center, two sisters: Susan Numbers (Ray) of Lititz and Sandra E. Kramer (Stephen) of Lititz, and his beloved Chocolate Lab Dallas. Bill was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends and family are invited to pay tribute to Bill's life from 11am-1pm Monday September 14, 2026 at the Middlebury Baptist Church and to his funeral service which will follow at 1pm in the church.
