Wayne A. Blackwell

Wayne A. Blackwell, 70, of Mansfield, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at his home.

Wayne was born May 25, 1951, in Wellsboro, the son of the late William and Ruth (Moore) Blackwell.  He was the husband of the late Maytha (Ives) Blackwell.

Wayne enjoyed helping others.  He is survived by a son, William G. Blackwell and a daughter, Barbara Ann Webb both of Mansfield; a sister, Marion Witherow of Wellsboro; brothers, Irvin and Ferlin Scarborough both of Alabama; 5 grandchildren and a great grandson.

In addition to his wife and parents, Wayne was preceded in death by seven siblings.

There will be no visitation and a private burial will take place in Wellsboro Cemetery.

The family has entrusted the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, 139 Main St., Wellsboro with his arrangements.
