Thelma J. (Britt) Brass

Thelma J. Brass, 77, of Wellsboro, passed away at Soldiers and Sailors Hospital, on Tuesday May 30, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Thelma was the wife of Nason Brass, who preceded her in death. She was born January 30, 1940, in Wellsboro, the daughter of the late Franklin J. and Janette G. (Blackwell) Britt.
Thelma was a member of Stony Fork Baptist Church, where she was very active. She enjoyed visiting friends and family at local nursing homes, reminiscing and reading with them.
Surviving are her sister and brother-in-law, Mary Jane and John Keller of Wellsboro; niece and her husband, Merri and Bill Strain of Tioga; great-nieces, Megan Janulewicz of Tioga and Shelly Hicks of West Virginia.
Thelma’s Life Celebration will be held from 10-11 AM, Monday, June 5, 2017 at Stony Fork Baptist Church. Funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dennis Crumb officiating. Burial will be in Oregon Hill Cemetery.
