Susan Lee (Baker) Miller

Susan L. (Baker) Miller, 68, of Wellsboro, passed away Sunday July 10, 2022 at UPMC Soldiers and Sailors in Wellsboro. She was born December 19, 1953 in Corning, NY to William and Joanne (Williamson) Baker. On May 24, 1987, she married John Miller, with whom she shared 35 years of marriage. After graduating from high school, she taught herself to be a court stenographer and served judges Kemp and Dalton in Tioga County for better than 25 years. Susan enjoyed sewing and was an excellent cook, she was very dedicated in her efforts to locate and reunite lost pets with their owners, but her true passion was her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, and was very thorough in her work exploring her family's genealogical roots. Susan is survived by her husband: John Miller of Wellsboro; a daughter: Stefanie L. Young of Stony Fork; a daughter-in-law: Tamara Williammee of Lawrenceville; a step-son: John Miller II (Alice) of Alaska; 6 grandchildren: Scott Williammee (Stephanie), Ethan Miller, Evan Miller, Morgan Kurzejewski, Alyssa Kurzejewski, and Travis James Michaelmas (Jennifer); three great-grandchildren: Maisie Williammee, and Dorian and Anastasia Michaelmas; two brothers: William and Bruce Baker; and a sister: Debbie East (James). She was preceded in death by her parents and a son: Christopher Williammee.
