Sue S. (St. John) White

Sue S. White, 65, of Wellsboro, passed away at her home on Wednesday December 23, 2015. She was the wife of David White, whom she married on June 23, 1973.  Sue was born January 27, 1950, in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of John M. and Barbara (Sperry) St. John.

Sue was a professional gardener, having graduated from Penn. State University. She loved to garden and enjoyed growing and canning her own food.

In addition to her husband David, Sue is survived by two daughters, Barbara White (Jeffrey Cole) of Wellsboro and Nina White of Salisbury, MD; her mother, Barbara St. John, Swarthmore, PA; granddaughter, Rosa Cole, Wellsboro; sister Sperry Garber (Randall) Saginaw, MI; brother, John St. John (Jane) Lake Arrowhead, CA.  Sue was preceded in death by her father, John M. St. John.
