Shirley W. (Williams) Borden

Shirley W. Borden, 82, of Wellsboro, passed away, Sunday, May 4, 2025, at the Green Home. She was born on April 9, 1943, in Wellsboro, the daughter of the late James & Amelia (Lynough) Williams. She is the wife of Carl L. Borden, who survives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Darren J Sherman, and a brother and sister-in-law Robert and Beverly Williams and her Mother and Father In-Law Waymon and Emeline Borden. Shirley is a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Wellsboro. And retired as Secretary of Delmar Township. In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters: Denise M. Sherman of Wellsboro; and Heather M. (Jeremy) Jackson of Ontario, NY; grandchildren: Hunter Shaw, Cody (Delaney) Jackson, Cooper Jackson, Colton Jackson, and Corbin Jackson, a niece Cheryl Worden, and her fury friend, her dog, Lexi. A mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, May 8, 2025,10AM at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 38 Central Ave., Wellsboro. Burial will be in Antrim Cemetery. The family has entrusted Shirley’s arrangements to the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, Wellsboro. To share a memory or
