Sharon Joyce (Misner) Griffin

Sharon Joyce Griffin, 75 of Little Marsh, PA passed away Sunday August 14, 2016 surrounded by family in her home.  She was the wife of Darryel R. Griffin, whom she married August 25, 1963.  Sharon was born July 6, 1941 in Blossburg, the daughter of LeClair and Doris Irene (Sortore) Misner.

Sharon was a US Air Force veteran, and she graduated from Little Marsh High School in 1959.  She was a member of the Little Marsh United Methodist Church, and worked as a US Mail carrier as well as helping to manage the Griffin Brothers appliance repair business.  A wife mother and grandmother, Sharon loved her family and was devoted to it, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband Darryel; 1 son:  Chad Griffin (Michele) of Middlebury Center; 2 Daughters:  Nikki Schauer (Karl) of Little Marsh, and Penny Button (Frank) of Middlebury Center; 5 grandchildren:  Courtney and Kayla Schauer of Little Marsh, Paige Griffin of Middlebury Center, and Tanner and Brayden Button of Middlebury Center; and a sister:  Shirley Kopecky of Little Marsh.  She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 son:  Scott Randolf Griffin; and 2 brothers:  Jerry and Darry Misner.

Friends and family are invited to Sharon’s Life Celebration on Wednesday August 17, 2016 from 6-8pm at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home 139 Main Street, Wellsboro, with a memorial service to follow at 8pm in the funeral home.
