Ronald E. Short, 68, of Little Marsh, passed away at his residence on Monday, November 23, 2015. He was the husband of Gail L. (Drake) Short, whom he married on May 5, 1967. Ronald was born in Wellsboro, September 9, 1947, to the late Lloyd and Mary (Wass) Short.
Ronald was a graduate of Cowanesque Valley High School with the Class of 1965. He was an U.S. Army veteran having served during the Vietnam Conflict. During his lifetime Ronald worked for Rosenbloom’s Furniture; Penna. Dept. of Transportation and retired from Westfield Tanning.
Ronald liked to garden. He especially enjoyed hunting and fishing and being outdoors.
Surviving is his wife, Gail, Little Marsh; daughter and son-in-law, Angela (Charles) Harlow, Clayton, NC; sister, Betty Morris, Wellsboro; mother-in-law, Elsie McCleaft, Wellsboro; granddaughter, Abygail Harlow; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Gavin Harlow; sister, Linda Parker; niece, Kathleen Davis and nephew, Anthony (Tony) Close.
