Phyllis I. (Butler) Keck

July 2, 1938 — February 14, 2021

Phyllis I. (Butler) Keck, 82, of Wellsboro, passed away Sunday February 14, 2021 at UPMC Soldiers and Sailors.  She was born July 2, 1938 in Milford, CT to Horace S. and Helen M. (Aldrich) Butler.  On July 2, 1956, Phyllis married Carlton A. “Red” Keck.  She worked as manager of the cafeteria for the Wellsboro Area School District.  Phyllis loved camping, crocheting and reading, walking her dog Jake and all other animals. She is survived by her husband Red; a son:  Scott A. Keck (Linda) of Cameron, NC; a daughter:  Susan L. Keck of Wellsboro; three grandchildren:  Joshua Agosto, Stephanie Guiterrez, and Alexander Keck – Leedy; a twin brother:  Phillip Butler (Yvonne) of Middlebury Center; and a sister:  Shirley Clark of Wellsboro.  She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons:  Calvin and Jeffrey Keck. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home 139 Main Street Wellsboro, PA.  There will be a visitation from 1-2pm Thursday February 18, 2021 with efforts to socially distance and occupancy limitations observed, a private funeral service will follow in the funeral home.  Those interested in making a donation in Phyllis’ memory are encouraged to remember the American Cancer Society 1948 E 3rd St, Williamsport, PA 17701.  To share a memory or condolence please visit www.tusseymosher.com.
