Norman D. Putman

Norman Darryl Putman, 81, of Wellsboro, died on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at the Gatehouse Inpatient Hospice at UMPC Divine Providence Hospital, Williamsport, PA. Norman was born on October 19, 1939 in Williamsport, the son of the late Basil and Theo (Callahan) Putman. He was a graduate of Wellsboro Area High School and Williamsport Technical Institute. Norman returned to Tioga County from California after retiring from Lockheed Missiles and Space with 35 years of service as an electrical technician. He was also a member of Stardusters, an organization for retired Lockheed Martin employees. In addition to his parents, Norman was predeceased in early childhood by two brothers, Ronald and Douglas Putman. At Norman's request, there will be no viewing or services. Private burial will be in West Branch Cemetery. Norman had entrusted his arrangements to the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home 139 Main Street Wellsboro, PA.
