Mjoelnr Emmanuel Mayer

Mjoelnr Emmanuel Mayer, 21, of Poughkeepsie, NY, died on June 24, 2016 at the Williamsport Regional Hospital.  He was the husband of Channelle Brooke (Brostrom) Mayer, who survives.   Mjoelnr was born June 7, 1995 in Plano, TX, the son of Molly and Richard Meddaugh, of Wellsboro.

Mjoelnr was passionate about cooking and wines.  He was employed at Commander’s Place, New Orleans, LA; as well as the Penn Wells Hotel in Wellsboro.  He accomplished his dream of making his hobbies his vocation and looked forward to becoming a Sommelier.

Mjoelnr is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY.  He graduated in May of 2016 with High honors with the designation of Chef.

He enjoyed being in the outdoors, hiking, listening to music and driving his car.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mjoelnr is survived by his grandparents, Samuel and Cynthia Long of Wellsboro.

A memorial service for Mjoelnr will be held at the Wellsboro Bible Church, Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM, with Pastor T.J. Freeman officiating.
