Michael R. Moshier

Michael R. Moshier, Sr., 61, of Elkland, passed away Saturday January 14, 2023 at Guthrie Corning Hospital, Corning, NY. He was born January 25, 1961 in Blossburg, PA to the late Raymond and Elouise (Ruggles) Coover. Mike enjoyed hunting, wood-working, spending time with his grandchildren and socializing with friends, sharing a good cup of coffee and a story or two. He is survived by: his life partner: Mary of Elkland with whom he shared 31 years, as they raised their blended family; children: Nicole Gigee of Elkland, Jordan Gigee of Elkland, Autumn Moshier of Elkland, and Michael Moshier of New Castle, PA; four brothers; a sister; a step-brother and step-sisters; and 13 beloved grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: June (Moshier) Tabor and Robin (Coover) Hatcher, and a brother: Ronald Coover. Following Mike's wishes, there will be no services or visitation, his life will be celebrated in private among his family.
