Mary May (Kriner) Gottschall

Mary May (Kriner) Gottschall, of Morris, PA, passed away at home on January 16, 2023. Mary was born July 8, 1936 in Morris Pennsylvania, to Leon and Marion (Guy) Kriner. She married Floyd Gottschall on July 6, 1950. Mary and Floyd owned and operated the Gottschall Hotel for 52 years. Mary was a homemaker after the hotel closed, and enjoyed reading, puzzles, cross-stitch, spending time with her grandchild and great grandchildren. Mary also enjoyed hosting her Eggnog, Fourth of July parties and fireworks. Mary had 4 daughters and one son. Jean (Scott) Christman, Susan (Todd) Streeter, Rose (Roger) Heckrote, Dorothy Seeley-Brown (Terry), who all survive; and Floyd "Bobby" (Karla) Gottschall who predeceased her. She had several grandchildren who survive: Robby (Halsey) Gottschall, Brandie Pearson, Jason Pearson, Bridget (Matt) Reed, Andrew (Cassy) Adams, Julie (Thomas Costello), Jeremy Seeley; 17 great grandchildren; and sister, Carol Phillips. Mary was predeceased by grandchildren; Ashley Seeley, Ronnie Seeley, Tracy Gottschall-Bryant; Brother Dale Kriner, her parents and husband. Per Mary's wishes, there will be no service.
