Mary A. (Boyce) Grinnell

April 5, 1940 — August 14, 2022

Mary A. (Boyce) Grinnell, 82, of Wellsboro, passed away at home surrounded by family, Sunday August 14, 2022. She was born April 5, 1940, in Wellsboro, to Roy J. and Charlotte (Mason) Boyce. She graduated from high school and earned her LPN degree. On August 6, 1957, she married Donald Grinnell, and together they raised two daughters. Mary was very involved with the Mt. Zion Full Gospel Church in Wellsboro and enjoyed her time with her Topsy-Turvey Group. She was also a member of the Wellsboro VFW Post 4907 Auxiliary. Mary is survived by two daughters: Mary DeBockler of Whitneyville, and Peggi Grinnell-Root of Whitneyville; 10 grandchildren: Dawn Marble, Christopher DeBockler, Nathan DeBockler, Sarah Fleming, Zachary DeBockler, Amanda Root, Kaitlin Piaquadio, Samantha DeBockler, Kari Root, and Rachel DeBockler; 40 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters: Jean Ingerick and Margaret Howard, and two brothers: LeRoy and Gordon Boyce. Friends and family are invited to pay tribute to Mary's life from 6-8pm Thursday August 18, 2022 at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, 139 Main Street Wellsboro, PA.
