Martin "Marty" Knowlton
February 11, 1960 — May 23, 2016
On Monday, May 23, 2016, at the age of 56, Marty was taken from us too soon. Marty met his wife Tammy, the love of his life, through Automax, where he was employed. He was a wonderful husband and a caring father to his two children, Chrysta Knowlton and Keith Knowlton. Marty became a grandfather seven years ago to Damien Miller.
Probably, Marty was best known from his time spent at Automax and Lake Country Motorsports. He worked at various local businesses throughout Wellsboro and Mansfield.
Marty was an US Marine Corp Veteran.
Surviving in addition to his wife, children and grandchild, is his mother, Jeannette Comstock; brothers, Robert (Cynthia) Knowlton, and Kyle (Diane) Knowlton; sister Krista (Steve) Hand. Marty was preceded in death by his father, Robert (Bob) Knowlton.
Memorial service to be held at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, Ltd. 139 Main St. Wellsboro, at 11:00 AM Saturday May 28, 2016.
