Mark H. Pelkey

Mark H. Pelkey, 62 of Wellsboro, passed away Wednesday September 14, 2022 in his home, surrounded by family after a battle with cancer. He was born December 15, 1959, in Syracuse, NY, to Herbert and Marlyn (Flemming) Pelkey. He graduated from high school and worked in telecommunications for Verizon. Mark enjoyed golfing, boating, fishing, shooting and walking his dog "Bear". He had fun travelling to Las Vegas with his brothers, and hunting prairie dogs with his son Mike was always special. Mark is survived by his son: Michael Pelkey of Wellsboro; his daughter: Meghan (John) Selander of Mainesburg; three granddaughters: Marguerite, Rebecca, and Abigail Selander of Mainesburg; two brothers: Chris (Kathy) Pelkey of Illinois, and Brian (Jeanette) Pelkey of New Jersey; and a sister: Kim (David Bushnell) Pelkey of Philadelphia. Mark's family has entrusted the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home 139 Main Street Wellsboro, PA with his arrangements. In accordance with his wishes there will be a private service at his family's convenience.
