Mark Andrew Lapoint
April 10, 1968 — January 15, 2016
Mark Andrew LaPoint, 47, of Raleigh, NC, passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 at his home; he was a resident of North Carolina for 26 years. He was the son of Lynn LaPoint and Pearl Rockwell Wright. He was preceded in death by his father and his step-father, Carl Wright.
He was a 1986 graduate of Cowanesque Valley High School; he was an Eagle Scout. Mark served in the Army Reserve. He loved aerial photography and enjoyed entertaining. Mark worked as a maintenance man.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his three brothers, James, at home; Jody, Little Marsh and Lynn, Jr., Shortsville. Two step-brothers, David Wright of York and Michael Wright (Lori), of Addison, NY. Two step-sisters, Kathy Olyowski (Paul), Pine Valley, NY and Tammie Baker of Florida.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
