Lori Ann (Dean) Huntington

Lori Ann Dean Huntington, age 50, formerly of Wellsboro, passed away unexpectedly, from natural causes, due to heart failure in her home in Duluth, GA on April 27, 2023.

Lori was born on September 22, 1972, to Robert and Patricia Dean in Anaheim, CA, and grew up in Wellsboro, PA.  She graduated from Wellsboro Area high School in 1991 and went on to earn her AS from Keystone College in 1993 and her BA from the University of Arizona Global Campus in 2014.  Lori married Todd Huntington in 2005 and she became a proud mother of her stepson, Christian Huntington.  She worked in the social service field in Wellsboro before moving to Georgia where she worked as a nanny to a family she remained close with.  Most recently, she was a daycare and pre-K teacher.  Lori was passionate about her career, and she loved teaching her students.

Lori was preceded in death by her father, Robert Dean; sister, Bobbi Jo Dean and grandparents, Earl and Phyllis Dean, Harold Alexander, and Viola Gorda.  She is survived by her husband Todd Huntington; stepson, Christian Huntington; mother, Patricia Alexander Dean; Sisters, Sherri (Brett) Zuchowski and Marci Dean Morgan, grandmother, Ginny Alexander, aunt, Cathy Dean Horning, and her nieces and nephew, Kassie Lewis, Bethany and Kailey Zuchowski, and Liam Morgan.  Lori was loved by all and will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and students.

Services will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church on Saturday May 13, 2023, at 4:00pm.  After the service a dinner will be held as a celebration to her life.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your favorite charity in her name.  To share a memory or condolence with her family visit www.tusseymosher.com.
