Lois E. (Stock) Covert

Lois E. Covert, 97, formerly of Wellsboro, passed away Wednesday November 1, 2023, at her daughter's home in Albion, PA, surrounded by family. She was born January 27, 1926, in Wellsboro to Gilbert C. and Ethel J. (Knapp) Stock. She worked at Osram in Wellsboro, was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and enjoyed cooking and being with family. Lois is survived by a son: Leslie Johnston, Jr. (Missy) of Wellsboro; three daughters: L. Marie Beggs (Robert) of Wellsboro, Donna Lepold of Cranesville, PA, and Rhonda Ciotti of Albion, PA; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands: Leslie E. Johnston, Sr. and Verne O. Covert, and a grandson: Robert Beggs, Jr. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Lois' life from 11:00am-1:00pm Tuesday November 7, 2023 at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home 139 Main Street Wellsboro, PA, with a funeral to follow at 1:00pm in the funeral home.
