Kay E. (Winters) Vanwhy

March 25, 1957 — September 14, 2024

Kay E. (Winters) VanWhy, of Tioga, passed away September 14, 2024, at The Green Home. She was born March 25, 1957, in East Stroudsburg, PA to Paul and Agnes (Leap) Winters. After graduating from high school, Kay worked as a cashier at Shop Rite, and then as a camp cook for Christian Herald Camp in Bushkill. She married Howard VanWhy. Kay was a lifelong servant of the Lord, and she was a member of the Stony Fork Baptist Church. She loved to cook and enjoyed crocheting and making afghan blankets.

Kay is survived by her sister: Pauletta Ader; and a brother Marc Winters. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three sisters: Mildred Shinn, Sharon Bruce, and Ella Mae Winters

Friends and family are invited to pay tribute to Kay’s life 3pm Monday September 23, 2024, at the Stony Fork Baptist Church. Burial will be the following day at Stroudsburg Cemetery. To share a memory or condolence with her family visit www.tusseymosher.com
