Kathleen C. (Crosetto) Johnson

Kathleen (Kathy) Crosetto Johnson, 64, of Boiling Springs, SC, formerly of Big Flats, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 14, 2021 at Spartanburg Regional Heart Center. Kathy was born on December 14, 1956 in Wellsboro, PA and was one of three children of John and Beverly Crosetto. Kathy married Richard (Dick) Johnson on May 2, 1981 at Christ Church in Corning, NY. Kathy graduated from Lincoln High School in Lincoln, RI in1975. She then attended Katharine Gibbs Business School in Providence, RI and graduated in 1976 with a secretarial degree. Upon graduation, Kathy worked for Brown University as a secretary in the athletics department. Kathy then relocated to Corning, NY and worked for Corning Incorporated where she met Dick, the love of her life. Kathy and Dick relocated to numerous Corning Incorporated locations including Bluffton, IN, Muskogee, OK and Martinsburg, WV. Kathy was an avid health and physical fitness enthusiast. She taught fitness classes at the Corning YMCA, managed Curves for Women in Big Flats and ran in the Red Baron half marathon and the Wineglass marathon. Kathy brought so much love and joy to her family and friends and could always brighten up a room with her smile and infectious laughter. Kathy is survived by her husband Dick, sons Pierce Johnson and Grant (Kelly) Johnson and grandchildren Adalyn, Emilia and Camden. In addition, mother Beverly Hall Crosetto, brother Robert (Brenda) Crosetto, sister Col. Krista Crosetto, USMC (Ret) and Col. Clarke Henderson, USMC (Ret), bother-in-law Lawrence Johnson, sister-in-law Nancy Schaefer, sister-in-law Karen Johnson and special friends Michelle and Grayden Peterson. Kathy is predeceased by father John - 2015, father-in-law Ronald Johnson - 2006, mother-in-law Janet Johnson - 2014 and sister-in-law Incha Cho Johnson - 2015. Friends and family are invited to the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, 139 Main Street Wellsboro, PA, from 6-8pm Tuesday June 22, 2021 to pay tribute to her life, and to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Pearl Street in Wellsboro, 11am Wednesday June 23, 2021 for a funeral service with Rev. Edward Erb officiating. Burial will be in the Wellsboro Cemetery.
