June E. Smith, 72, of Morris, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at Arnot Ogden Medical Center, in Elmira NY. She was born August 30, 1943 in Wellsboro, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Gladys (Hilborn) Mattison.
June was an avid shopper. She enjoyed football, she was a Philadelphia Eagles and PSU Lions fan. June also enjoyed watching New York Mets games. She loved to solve crossword puzzles.
Surviving are her brothers; Donald Blackwell, Blackwell; Enoch H. Blackwell, Venice, FL; Burdette Arnold Blackwell, Warner Robbins, GA and Lane Blackwell, Blackwell; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her sister, Joan Flick; two brothers, Jesse and Theryl Blackwell.
Friends and family are invited to June’s Life Celebration on Friday, December 18, 2015, from 1-2 PM at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, Ltd. 139 Main St., Wellsboro, service to follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Sherry Butters officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Morris.
