John K. Suhr

John K. Suhr, 80, of Charleston Twp., passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at his residence. He was the husband of Sharon R. (Roberts) Suhr, who preceded him in death April 7, 2014.
John was born July 28, 1935, in Williamsport, the son of the late Harry T. and Iola Walton (Pope) Suhr.
He was employed in his lifetime at Truck-Lite and Mergenthaler. John loved his friends, especially those at the Wellsboro Dunkin Donuts. He enjoyed watching the birds that frequented his feeders and deer hunting.
Surviving are his sons, David Suhr (Tina), St. Louis, MO and Steve Suhr, Elizabeth City, NC; daughter, Cathy Gorg (Scott) of Wellsboro; grandchildren, Matthew Wilson (Jennifer), Wellsboro, Logan Gorg, Austin; great granddaughter, Molly Anderson. Four brothers, Jeff Suhr (Beverly), Jerry Suhr (Marje), Jock Suhr, and Jim Suhr (Joy). In addition to his wife and parents, John was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Musingo.
