Jeanine R. (Sparber) Salvadge
October 25, 1955 — March 2, 2017
Jeanine R. (Sparber) Salvadge, 61, of Wellsboro, passed away at her residence on Thursday, March 2, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Jeanine was married to Ralph Salvadge, who survives. Jeanine was born October 25, 1955 in Galeton, PA, the daughter of the late Abe and Ruth (Owen) Sparber.
Jeanine was employed by Soldiers and Sailors Hospital for over 40 years. She enjoyed cooking, canning, riding her bicycle, planting flowers and picking blueberries and fruit. She loved her dogs and other pets, but her central focus was her family, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Jeanine was selfless and devoted to helping others, she will be sorely missed.
In addition to her husband, Ralph, she is survived by her son, Aaron Salvadge (Rebekka) of Wellsboro; her daughter, Shana Broussard (Bobby) of New Iberia, LA; 3 grand children, Leona Salvadge, Wellsboro, PA and Kennedy and Gracie Broussard of New Iberia, LA; one future grandson and future granddaughter; sister, Sarah Piaquadio (Louis) of Galeton, PA. Jeanine was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Shea Williams.
A memorial celebration of her life will be held from 6-8 PM Saturday, March 11, 2017, at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, Ltd. 139 Main St., Wellsboro.
