Jane E. (Lewis) Hilfiger

Jane E. Hilfiger, 80, of Covington, passed away Wednesday February 16, 2022 at UPMC in Williamsport. She was born July 13, 1941 in Holiday to Ferrin and Katherine (Dean) Lewis. She graduated from high school, and on February 26, 1960, she married Fred Hilfiger with whom she shared nearly 62 years of marriage. She worked at McCrory's, and with Fred raised a daughter and two sons. She enjoyed watching her sons race at Woodhull, spending winters in Florida, and country music, but most of all she loved her family. Jane is survived by her husband; two sons: Michael Hilfiger of Covington, and Randy Hilfiger (Shirley) of Covington; a daughter: Sally Hilfiger of Genoa, NY; 5 grandchildren: Travis, Trevor, and Dustin Hilfiger Bethany Steves, and Krysti Reed; 4 great-grandchildren; a brother: Dean Lewis (Shirley) of Tioga; and 3 sisters: Norma Heck of Tioga, Phyllis Hilfiger of Mosherville, and Anna Rose of Wellsboro. She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters: Hazel Atkinson, Shirley Rose, and Hilda Patterson; and a brother: Ralph Lewis. In accordance with her wishes there will be a private service at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home 139 Main Street Wellsboro, PA and she will be interred at Tioga County Memorial Gardens.
