Hugh F. Conkright, Jr.

Hugh F. Conkright, Jr., 67, of Wellsboro, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 27, 2017. He was married to Donna VanDusen on November 19, 1988, they were married for over 28 years. Hugh was born April 20, 1950, in Wellsboro, PA, the son of Hugh F. and Barbara J. (Learn) Conkright, Sr. He was a graduate of Wellsboro High School; he attended Mansfield University and graduated with a BS degree in mathematics.
Hugh attended the Charleston Baptist Church. He was employed by Penn Wells Hotel/Motel as their accountant for over 40 years. He loved watching baseball and other sports; Hugh was an avid Yankees fan.
Surviving are his parents, Hugh and Barbara Conkright, Sr. of Wellsboro; his wife, Donna M. Conkright of Wellsboro; daughters, Barbara J. Conkright (Frank Konopka) of Mansfield and Mary Ellen Conkright of Wellsboro; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Family and friends are invited to Hugh’s Life Celebration from 10- 11 AM Saturday, September 30, 2017, at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, 139 Main St., Wellsboro, PA. Funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Brad Prouty officiating. Burial in Wellsboro Cemetery.
