Helen Marie Keck, 86, of Wellsboro, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2015 at Broad Acres. She was the wife of Harold R. Keck, Jr., whom she married on October 15, 1949. They were married for 66 years.
Helen was born on October 11, 1929, in Jersey Shore, PA, the daughter of the late Harry M. and Mary (Hatfield) Griswold.
She was a member of 1st Presbyterian Church of Wellsboro since 1949. Helen was a longtime member of the Tyoga Country Club. She enjoyed playing cards in her leisure time. Helen was last employed at Carson Finance as a receptionist before she retired.
Surviving are her husband, Harold R. Keck, Jr., Wellsboro; sons, Edward (Marla) of Williamsport, Ronald (Kathy) of Pittsburgh, David (Tamara), of Medina, OH, Brian (Paulette), of Greencastle; brothers, Donald and Daniel Griswold; sister, Dorothy Reamer; half-sister, Barbara Gallagher; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to Helen’s Life Celebration on Friday, November 13, 2015 from 1-3 PM at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, “A Life Celebration Home”, 139 Main St., Wellsboro, service to follow at 3:00 PM, with Rev. Dr. Roger Wagner officiating. Burial in Wellsboro Cemetery.
