Harry John Hazelton, 87, of Wellsboro, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Ardys Mae (Gerow) Hazelton who preceded him in death. Harry was born June 7, 1928 in Wellsboro, PA, the son of the late John A. and Agnes (Lundquist) Hazelton.
Harry was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He was retired from Corning Glass Works, GTE Sylvania for 45 years. He was an avid wood worker; in addition he loved to garden and camp with his family and friends.
Harry is survived by his sons, Robert Hazelton (Deborah) and John Hazelton, all of Wellsboro; his daughter, Connie Morral (Gerald), Wellsboro; three grandchildren, Chad Clemens, Robin Adams (Sean) all of Wellsboro and Jordyn Hazelton, Blossburg; four great-grandchildren, Cameron Clemens, Courtney Clemens, Madelyn Clemens and Asa Adams, all of Wellsboro; great- great grandson Coleman E. Adams, Wellsboro; brother, Elwood Hazelton, Wellsboro. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, wife and his brother, Howard Hazelton.
Friends and family are invited to Harry’s Life Celebration, Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 1-2 PM at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, “A Life Celebration Home”, 139 Main St., Wellsboro, service to follow at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Peter DeVantier officiating.
