Harold E. Urich, Jr.
October 20, 1942 — August 10, 2016
Harold E. Urich, Jr., 73, of Morris, PA, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro. He was the husband of Carol L. Empfield whom he married on June 9, 1962. Harold was born October 20, 1942 in Harrisburg, PA, the son of the late Harold E. and Dorothy (Smith) Urich, Sr.
Harold was a US Navy Veteran; he served from 1959 to 1963. He attended the Blossburg First Baptist Church. Harold was owner/operator of Harold’s Seafood in Harrisburg for 21 years. He was last employed at Penn College, North Campus before he retired. Harold belonged to the VFW and the American Legion. He loved scuba diving and sailing.
Surviving is his wife, Carol Urich of Morris. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends and family are invited to Harold’s Life Celebration on Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 10-11 AM at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, Ltd., 139 Main St., Wellsboro, funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM with Rev. John Shypulefski officiating. Burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
