Gordon P. Dunlap, 60, of Wellsboro, passed away, Wednesday, May 20, 2026. Gordon was born on November 10, 1965, in Greensburg, the son of the late William H. Dunlap and Mary (Carpenter) Wehbi. He married his soulmate Cathy L. Dunlap on September 24, 2007, and celebrated 18+ years of marriage.
Gordon was a graphic designer for Soldiers and Sailors Hospital, now for Garrison Hughes, still designing for UPMC. He was a member of the Vineyard Church of Wellsboro, and served on the worship team, playing drums, and was a fervent member of the prayer team. He loved music, was an incredible drummer, performed with the Country Fever Band for 20 years, and was a passionate fan of the band Yes. He was also passionate about reading and studying his bible and running. He was the best Dad and loved going to his children’s sporting events.
In addition to his wife, Cathy, Gordon is survived by two children: Jadyn and Justin Dunlap of Wellsboro; a brother, Andrew Dunlap of Smithton; a sister, Laurie (Mark) Schneider of Wakefield, RI; father and mother-in-law, James & Lynne Bullock of Mississauga, Canada; a brother-in-law, Mark Bullock of Toronto, Canada; a sister-in-law, Debra (Derek) Deluca of Oakville, Canada; 5 nieces, 2 nephews, and his beloved Dachshund, Baxter.
Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects, Friday, June 5, 2026, from 5-7pm and Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 1-2pm at Vineyard Church of Wellsboro, 45 Charleston St. A memorial service will follow on Saturday at 2pm at the church with his pastor and friend, Pastor Brett Kennedy, officiating. In lieu of flowers a non-tax-deductible memorial gift in Gordon’s name can be made to the Vineyard Church of Wellsboro in support of his two children, Jadyn and Justin, for a trust to be set up.
