Gerry L. Clemens

Gerry L. Clemens, 79, of Wellsboro passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at UPMC-Wellsboro. She was born on September 17, 1945, in Wellsboro, the daughter of the late Ransom and Viola (Wood) Smith. She married the late Rockne L. Clemens on September 17, 1965. Gerry was a graduate of Wellsboro High School, Class of 1963, and worked many years in the cafeteria at Mansfield University.  She enjoyed the outdoors, horses, fishing, and was the first woman in Wellsboro to own a motorcycle. Gerry is survived by sons: Michael T. (Linda) Clemens, Scott L. (Nancy) Clemens, a daughter, Roxanne (Rob) Wisniewski all of Wellsboro; a brother, Jack (Lynn) Smith of Blossburg; 12 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.  In addition to her husband and parents, Gerry was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Smith and numerous step siblings. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects, Wednesday, March 5, 2025, from 4-6pm at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, 139 Main St., Wellsboro.  A private burial will be in Tioga Memorial Gardens, Mansfield.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Gerry’s name may be made to the Second Chance Animal Rescue, 725 Gee Rd., Tioga, PA  16946.
