Genevieve (Dilly) Stock

Genevieve Stock, 82, of Wellsboro passed away at UPMC Soldiers and Sailors in Wellsboro Wednesday January 5, 2022. She was born January 14, 1939 in Mannington, WV to Stanley William and Nellie Mae (Sloan) Dilly. On May 7 1960 she married Charles G. Stock, Sr. with whom she shared 56 years of marriage prior to his death in November of 2016. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and loved her family. Genevieve is survived by her son: Richard Lee Dilly of St. Louis, MO; 3 daughters: Elizabeth Short (Basil) of Cherry Flats, Genny Paddleford (Lenny) of Wellsboro, and Mary Ann (Terry) Moore of Wellsboro; a daughter-in-law: Denise Nichols; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and her sister Betty Knapp, the last of 11 siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son: Charles Stock, Jr., and 9 siblings. Friends and family are invited to pay tribute to her life from 1-2pm Saturday January 8, 2022 at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home 139 Main Street Wellsboro, PA, with a funeral to follow at 2pm in the funeral home.
