Gary Lew Clemens, 67, of Osceola, PA, passed away at the Green Home in Wellsboro, surrounded by family on Friday, November 24, 2017. He was the husband of Debra K. Everitt, who he married on April 5, 1980. They were married for 37 years. Gary was born on December 12, 1949 in Wellsboro, PA, the son of the late Homer W. and Beatrice M. (Sumner) Clemens. He regularly attended the Austinburg Methodist Church for 38 years.  Gary was an US Army veteran.

Gary was employed by Commonwealth Communications as a telephone lineman, he retired in 2001. He was a regular attendee at prayer breakfast in Osceola. Gary loved to hunt and trap, he liked shooting all kinds of weapons.  The times he loved most were spent at home with his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Debra are his daughters, Kristen Coolidge (Bryan) of Mansfield and Katrina Scherer (Matt) of Newport News, VA; three grandchildren; brothers, David Clemens and Ronald Clemens, both of Wellsboro, PA; several nieces and nephews; as well as cousins.

Gary’s Life Celebration will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 5-7 pm at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, 139 Main St. Wellsboro and Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 10-11 am at the funeral home, funeral service will follow with Pastor Cathy Dawes officiating.  Burial will be in East Charleston Cemetery.
