Faith B. Benner

Faith B. Benner, 82, of Morris passed away Friday, January 16, 2026, at her home. She was born on August 22, 1943, in Quakertown, PA, the daughter of the late Stanley and Ethel (Landis) Beidler. She married Pastor Paul K. Benner on June 22, 1963, and has celebrated over 62 years of marriage together.

Faith was a devoted and active member of the Mennonite Bible Fellowship, Morris. At the church, she taught children, coordinated meals, coordinated the sewing circle, which she was still attending weekly. She and her husband Paul also owned and operated the Benner’s General Store, in Morris. Faith enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, flowers, raising her children, and caring for her husband.

In addition to her husband, Faith is survived by children: Juanita Joy (Pastor John) Brodnicki of Morris; Jon Merlin (Melissa) Benner of Haines, AK; Brian Jay (Kelli) Benner of Liberty; and Julia Dawn (David) Heck of Morris; a daughter-in-law, Michelle Benner of Liberty; sisters: Edith, Hope, Gloria, Eva, Rose, Jewel, a sister-in-law, Dorothy, 13 grandchildren, 2 great granddaughters and a third coming soon. In addition to her parents, Faith was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Joel Benner, and a brother, Luke Beidler.

Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects on Saturday, February 7, 2026. Visitation will be from 10-11am, with a service at 11am at Mountaintop Grace Community, 6531 State Rte. 414, Liberty. The family suggest memorial contributions in Faith’s name be made to the Morris Fire and Ambulance Co.
